I began my professional career in the nonprofit world, where I learned the importance of listening to people’s stories when tackling big problems. However, I noticed the systems in place were in need of visual, content, and experience designers.

I decided to pursue design because I see it as the best platform for affecting change; it allows me to understand unnoticed needs and frustrating experiences to translate them into designed solutions.

When i’m not designing on my computer, you can find me building furniture, experimenting in the kitchen, or daydreaming about moving to the Galapagos.

Some of my non-digital work

I designed and built this series of furniture out of bent plywood and bioresin. The series takes inspiration from the natural forms and processes in the world around us. Each table is designed with a specific function/form that different parts of a tree have : roots, leaves, and branches. My roots table was featured on freshhome.
